Review: Bumble Bee Swaddle Blanket

Baby V has been swaddled to sleep since birth. Initally, we used muslin cloths to wrap him. When he outgrew the cloths, we wrapped him with swaddle blankets by Bumble Bee.

Pros:

  • Comfortable 100% cotton material
  • Easy to use: just place baby’s legs in pouch and wrap his arms, then fasten with the two velcro tabs

Cons:

  • Velcro tabs harden and curl outwards after a few washes, not lasting enough
  • For small babies only since it is rather short, even though the cover suggests it can be used up to 14 weeks.

Baby V squirmed a lot and overstretched his two Bumble Bee swaddles. For my next baby, I’d consider other swaddles.
