Hi Christine, we use it in either the wet or dry area of bathroom to bath baby. To prevent back ache, I sit on a small stool. The stopper works for us and water doesn't drip out to wet the floor. We only remove the stopper after son has finished bathing, to empty the water. It's possible that your bath tub has a faulty stopper.

May I know where you put this bath tub to bath baby? I bought this bath tub at takashimaya baby fair 2011 after reading your review. When i used it for first time after my baby was born, I put it on a table and not in the bath room, so I don't need to bend my back. However I found the water was leaking from the sinkhole of the bath tub, and my floor was dipped with water after a short while. So my question is , is this bath tub supposed to be used in bath room only? The leaking water is product failure or it is designed to be used in bath room only?
